An OD&D mode. Roll Attributes of character as normal, 3d6 down the line. Magic is for wimps, Gods are unworthy, Flesh is stronger than steel. You are a Meat Head, a Workout Jerk, a Gym Turkey; level as Fighter and only a Fighter. Look how you please - species or gender does not trump muscle.
After Attributes are rolled you have a chance to further increase your character's brawn. Roll 3d6 with the result equal to or greater than a character's current Strength to bestow an additional d3 points into Strength. Gains! Failure means death, having been crushed by stone and hubris. Roll anew.

This mode of play interacts mostly with Dungeon procedures. For Wilderness rules, or other needed tools, refer to an OD&D document or clone.
Up to 3 characters may attempt to force open a door at once, granting an additional chance of success up to 5in6. Forcing a door open this way is strained with heaving grunts and bending iron, and will deny a chance to catch the other side surprised.
XP is received by usual means - encountering monsters, exploring rooms, finding treasure - with the addition of being awarded for lifting heavy objects and performing feats of strength.
Lifting as XP is divvied in a manner similar to gold. Whoever lifts the entirety of a heavy object gains its entire weight in XP. Weight split amongst many bodies is divided equally among them. Any object 100 lbs. or less awards no XP for being lifted.
Characters may make a Boast. This functions as a Boast in Wolves Upon the Coast, except that the Boaster may choose to increase their Strength ability by 1 instead of +1HD or +1 Attack.
